Young Women's Hub

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month—a time dedicated to fostering understanding, breaking stigma, and advocating for mental well-being.

At The Young Women's Hub, we believe that prioritising mental health is essential, especially for vulnerable young women who may face challenges in seeking support. This month, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting mental health awareness, safeguarding, and providing mentoring and resources to empower young women and their families.

Through workshops, discussions, and outreach efforts, we aim to create safe spaces where young women feel heard, valued, and supported. We also recognise the crucial role that parents and carers play in this journey, and we strive to equip them with the knowledge and tools to nurture mental well-being at home.

Let’s use this month as an opportunity to encourage open conversations, offer support to those in need, and reinforce the importance of mental health in every aspect of life. Because mental health matters—today and every day!
